The great thing about surfing here is the plentiful waves all year long, every size and shape rolls through. That is what brings surfers of all styles and ages to Costa Rica, better yet, the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula.

Within a 30 minute drive, you can surf at Mal Pais, Santa Teresa, Manzanillo, Cabuya, and Montezuma. You can choose beach or point breaks and there are enough surf instructors to give you the ins and outs.
